At 01:58 on Saturday, 14 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera
• Triple/Short extension ladder

Incident involving skip fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.
