At 18:28 on Saturday, 21 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Non Urgent.

1 fire appliance including the Aerial Ladder Platform was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews assisted in the rescue of a sparrowhawk stuck in netting on roof. Crews used the aerial ladder platform as a safe working platform to successfully carry out the rescue.
