At 13:06 on Tuesday, 24 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Bishops Castle.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire smouldering in one grain silo with a capacity of 700 tonnes, contents being removed.
