At 17:23 on Wednesday, 25 September, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke in kitchen due to items left on toaster. Items cleared and advice given.
