At 13:14 on Wednesday, 2 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire at rear of garden involving approximately 20 meters squared of household waste. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets and drag rakes. Advice given to occupiers.
