At 11:49 on Friday, 4 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of house fire involving 70% of kitchen. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, 1 thermal image camera, ventilation fan and drag rakes.
