At 20:05 on Tuesday, 8 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke coming from log burner. Crews gave advice and monitored log burner.
