At 09:35 on Thursday, 10 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Person with foot trapped under tree stump following logging operations. Crews released person using spreaders and low pressure airbags. Casualty now in care of ambulance service.
