At 21:23 on Tuesday, 15 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Lancaster Avenue , Dawley .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Call to smoke detector actuated in domestic property. Fire crew were unable to access the property but carried out thorough external inspection using thermal imaging camera and short extension ladder.
