At 00:10 on Tuesday, 29 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One car approx 50% involved in fire. Crews using 2 hose reel jets to extinguish whilst wearing breathing apparatus. Believed to be deliberate ignition.
