At 08:54 on Tuesday, 29 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Market Drayton.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

One horse rescued from sink hole using animal rescue team and equipment. Vet was also in attendance.
