At 21:45 on Tuesday, 5 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Whitchurch.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Report of small fire in park consisting of tyres and domestic waste. Crews extinguished using a knapsack and rakes to clear. This incident has been reported to the Police.
