At 10:16 on Wednesday, 13 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

One saloon vehicle with smoke issuing from engine compartment due to blown coolant tank. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet and thermal image camera.
