At 19:23 on Friday, 22 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

This incident involved an unattended bonfire measuring 5m by 5m, crews extinguished using 1 hose reel jet and drag rakes
