At 14:06 on Wednesday, 27 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Barn Fire in Dorrington.

5 fire appliances including the Light Pumping Unit and the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Much Wenlock. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

One Telehandler involved in fire within barn. Building not affected. Crews extinguished using one hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus'.
