At 18:20 on Sunday, 1 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Specialist drone crews were mobilised to assist police in a search for a missing person. The person was found safe and well prior to arrival of the Fire Service
