At 20:46 on Monday, 2 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

This incident involved a fire caused by an item left on the electric hob. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, and cleared smoke logging with positive pressure ventilation.
