At 11:23 on Wednesday, 4 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Gas Leak in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Reports of smell of gas within commercial premises. Crews ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan due to a strong smell of gas. Gas monitor reveled no gas present. Advice has been given to occupiers to recontact air conditioning engineer to investigate further.
