At 11:28 on Friday, 27 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet

Small fire involving waste paper conveyor and collection pit.
