At 17:36 on Monday, 30 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Report of large garden bonfire which was out of control. Crews extinguished using a hose reel jet and small gear due to close proximity of the bonfire to the fence.
