At 13:32 on Wednesday, 8 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of dog trapped in frozen water. No acton by Fire Crews as dog had been able to get out of water. Police in attendance.
