At 13:33 on Friday, 10 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm good intent caused by faulty engine. Crews carried out thorough investigation using thermal imaging camera.
