At 21:24 on Thursday, 16 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Cutters/Spreaders
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Crews used Holmatro equipment to gain access through roller shutter door. Two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet were used to extinguish the fire. One covering jet was in place and crews used positive pressure ventilation to clear residual smoke
