At 03:11 on Sunday, 2 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Shed Fire in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Thermal imaging camera

Domestic shed and wheelie bin engulfed in fire. Crews used a hose reel jet and drag rakes to extinguish whilst wearing breathing apparatus.
