At 12:39 on Saturday, 15 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire from washing machine which was out on arrival of crews. Crews carried out an inspection and moved the washing machine outside of the property. Thermal imaging camera used to check safe temperature levels
