At 09:21 on Saturday, 22 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Bishops Castle.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in flue of log burner within domestic property. Crews extinguished the fire using buckets of water, chimney rods and small gear. Crews also used a thermal imaging camera to check the premises for any hot spots.
