At 12:23 on Saturday, 1 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Tree Fire in Shawbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Fire involving 4 square metres of brash and bracken, also affecting one Ash tree of 5 metres in height.
