At 16:51 on Wednesday, 19 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Charlton Street, Oakengates .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central.

Small fire on hob in kitchen of house. 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet used to extinguish the fire, positive pressure ventilation system used to assist with clearing smoke.
