At 11:37 on Monday, 31 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Door opener
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

Small fire involving unattended cooking. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jets.
