At 12:58 on Friday, 11 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet

50 meters squared of scrubland and woodland which had caught fire. Crews used a hose reel jet, fogging pump and beaters to assist in extinguishing.
