At 10:07 on Saturday, 12 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Urgent in Church Stretton.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Crews assisted paramedics in rescuing casualty from location on the Long Mynd using a scoop stretcher.
