At 13:19 on Saturday, 12 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Report of alarms sounding within building development. This was a false alarm with good intent. Alarm has ceased to sound when crews were in attendance. Crews carried out a full external inspection using a thermal imaging camera with no sign of smoke or fire.
