At 01:17 on Monday, 14 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One van destroyed by fire. Crews used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and checked for hot spots using a thermal imaging camera.
