At 12:30 on Monday, 14 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Reports of smoke issuing from trees- This incident was a false alarm with good intent, incident involved a controlled burn which had self extinguished
