At 16:23 on Wednesday, 23 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by burnt cooking.
