At 03:51 on Wednesday, 14 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Ludlow.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

1 derelict property fully destroyed by fire. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 4 hose reel jets, 1 main jet and 1 covering jet to extinguish. Assistance obtained from Hereford & Worcester Fire Service.
