At 07:53 on Friday, 23 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in The Wrekin, Telford.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Small grass fire extinguished using knapsack and shovel.
