At 15:41 on Saturday, 31 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Prees Higher Heath.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire in fire pit which had spread to grass and fence panels. One hose reel jet used to extinguish
