At 15:16 on Wednesday, 4 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm due to heat from cooking.
