At 07:51 on Monday, 9 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving entrance to church. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus and 2 hose reel jets.
