At 12:51 on Wednesday, 18 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Minsterley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving 10m x 15m of shrubs and undergrowth. Crews used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish fire.
