At 13:12 on Saturday, 28 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Wrockwardine.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving 10 square metres of grass in close proximity to garden brazier in use burning waste.
