At 00:09 on Tuesday, 1 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet

Small fire involving a washing machine in a residential flat, found to be out upon arrival of Fire Service personnel.
