At 12:10 on Friday, 4 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and a utility company.

One semi detached property, fire involving 100% of kitchen.
