At 13:37 on Saturday, 5 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire located in the ground floor consisting on furniture.
