At 14:55 on Saturday, 5 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Baschurch and Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

small unattended camp fire. Extinguished using buckets of water and knapsacks.
