At 19:23 on Sunday, 6 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident involved unoccupied bonfire which had spread and caused smouldering grass, crews used two drag rakes and the fogging unit from the incident support unit.
