At 08:42 on Friday, 11 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised.

This was a out of control bonfire approximately 10m x 20m, crews used 1 hosereel jet.

Build bonfires well clear of buildings and never use flammable liquids to start the fire. Before you light the bonfire, check that children and animals are not hiding inside and are a safe distance away. Don't leave bonfires unattended. Don't light bonfires in unsuitable weather conditions.
