At 20:12 on Monday, 21 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Flood Affecting Electrics in Newport.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Also at the scene of the incident were: Telford and Wrekin Council.

Reports of flooding affecting electrics within property. Crews attended to assist residents with isolating electrics and unblocking drains in the street. Crews also assisted in neighbouring streets due to numerous reports of flooding affecting properties.
