At 18:39 on Saturday, 2 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Hedge Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire affecting 2m x 1m of hedgerow caused by adjacent garden bonfire.
